Emmanuelle, your Thyade, will meet you for a lunch in a Parisian restaurant. She will then take you to the fast TGV train and accompany you on your way to Dijon city from which your adventure will begin.
Along the days, depending on the length of your stay, you will travel the roads of Burgundy from North to South, discovering not only the most renowned Burgundy wines but also the “ petits Bourgognes qui se laissent boire” as we call the more simple wines in the region. You will experience the cult of wine by visiting different wine cellars daily and tasting the various flavours. You will not fail to visit the capital city of the famous Dukes of Burgundy (Dijon). You will also share the secrets of a few Chateaux of the region. You will stay in a hotel where you will create the atmosphere that you wish to see. Les Thyades will organize a welcome evening for you, as well as an au-revoir party.
After 3,4,5,6,7 or even 8 days, you will then return to Paris with a souvenir of Les Thyades in your luggage, but yet sad that time has to come to leave beautiful Burgundy and your sole wish will be only to come back! Call the Thyades to discuss your future discovery of Burgundy!
From Chablis to Mâcon, through the hills of the Côte de Nuits, the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Châlonnaise, you will discover all there is to know about wines of Burgundy during an entire week.
The cost of this longest trip varies from 2 700 euros to 3 200 euros depending on the number of persons involved in the trip and on the time of the year. This price includes:
The hotel (double room, an 320 euros extra fee for a single bedroom)
The transportation (TGV train and mini van),
All meals (wine included!)
Entrance fees to wine cellar visits, as well as to cultural monuments, special evenings
And finally Emmanuelle’s guiding and company.
The hotel fees need to be paid at the end of the stay, on site. A deposit on the rest of the services will be needed at the time of booking, while the entire cost will be due 2 weeks prior to departure.
All combinations are possible. For example, we offer a visit of the Côtes de Beaune + Côtes de Nuits region in 2 or 3 days, or Chablis, Tonnerre, Auxerre in 2 or 3 days, or even Côte Châlonnaise and Côte Mâconnaise in a couple of days.
The cost of the short trails varies between 1 000 euros and 1 500 euros in a double room.
